Being a Reader… author… then an illustrator… and a publisher…
The author of this workshop was H.J Harper, who is an author from Melbourne who writes a series called Star League.
There was an Illustrator at this workshop whose name was Sue deGennaro who has illustrated The Tomorrow Book and The Princess and the Packet of Frozen Peas.
All I did was think of a title, write a story, illustrated it and got it published.
And then ACORNS came to be!!!
I enjoyed all of it but especially liked the illustrating because I love drawing.

Hannah this is great! I love the curly wurly writing and how it matches that one word in your book! V clever! My favourite illustration in your book is the one where the girl is looking up frustrated as the acorn hits her head!! So expressive!! I’m glad you had fun! See you soon. 🙂
